What does it mean for your neighbourhood?

About the event
In recent years, the City has held several community consultation meetings as it develops a new Official Plan for the Yonge North area. A final community meeting is scheduled for March 21.
An Official Plan is the set of rules the City uses to assess development proposals. The policies can be complex and are sometimes difficult to follow in one sitting for those not familiar with how Planning works in Ontario.
Therefore, John has scheduling his own town hall meeting, prior to the more formal City consultation which typically does not allow a lot of time for answering questions or discussions on planning principles. This meeting is not intended to replace the City meeting but rather to provide an additional opportunity for people understand what is being proposed.
Join John, his Chief of Staff Markus O'Brien Fehr, and experts from the City's Planning Division for this discussion and Q & A.
