Anyone Born in 2009 Now Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine

Those who turn 12 any time this year are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Ontario, in line with what has already been happening in other provinces.

Previously, only those who had actually turned 12 were eligible. With the change, those born any time in 2009 can now get vaccinated. The hope is that this will get more students with at least one vaccine dose before the start of school next month.

Vaccinations at a City clinic can be booked online here, or you can just walk-in to any of the city locations, including the conveniently-located Mitchell Field clinic, between the hours of noon to 7:00 PM.
