With flu season quickly approaching, Toronto Public Health is encouraging everyone to make the point of getting their flu shot this year. A shot not only reduces the chance of getting sick, it also makes it less likely that you will pass it on to others. As our hospitals continue to deal with cases of COVID-19, it remains very important that we limit the spread of other illnesses.
The Government of Ontario is starting to deliver flu shots to hospitals this week. It is expected that shots will be available to the general public the week of October 11. Contact your health care provider for more information, or to schedule an appointment.
