The City’s History Museums bring the Awakenings series to Gibson House Museum (5173 Yonge Street) on Saturday, October 16 from 6 to 10 PM. These art projects address issues of anti-oppression, anti-colonialism and anti-racism and help keep us connected.
Saturday features We Were Always Here, a projection-based presentation including images, texts and flashes of insight. Look for Fuyuzakura, a short film by Michael Hitoshi Maddeaux, which was researched and partly filmed at Gibson House. Projections will repeat throughout the evening. No reservations are required.
