Metrolinx is offering early homebound service on Christmas and New Year’s Eve on GO Transit. Also, free late-night service on both GO and UP Express for New Year’s Eve.
Early Homebound Service:
Most GO train lines are running early homebound service on December 24th and 31st.
Some regular afternoon train trips have been replaced with earlier departures.

Free NYE Late Night Service:
On New Year’s Eve, you can ride GO Transit after 7 PM for free, with extra late-night trains.
Simply board. Don’t tap or buy a ticket after 7 PM on December 31st

Christmas Day – December 25th, 2019: Sunday schedule
Boxing Day – December 26th, 2019: Saturday schedule
New Year’s Day – January 1st, 2020: Sunday schedule
Saturday Schedule or Sunday Schedule means service on these days will run according to the Saturday or Sunday schedule for each route. Some GO Transit routes do not offer weekend service. Check your specific schedule for information about weekend service.
The TTC will operate on Sunday service on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Service will be identical to that operated on a Sunday. Ride the TTC for FREE on New Year’s Eve from 7 PM until 7 AM on January 1, 2020. Learn more here.

Subway service starts at 8 AM and the system will operate on a Sunday service schedule.

Subway service starts at 6 AM and the system will operate on a Sunday service schedule.
December 31: New Year’s Eve
Ride the TTC for free this New Year’s Eve from 7 PM until 7 AM on January 1, 2020. No need to tap your PRESTO card on New Year’s Eve.
