The City of Toronto will be closing its public survey on the new Olympic Gardens Park on November 28. The new park, located in the Newtonbrook community east of Yonge Street and South of Cummer (pictured right) will be designed based on feedback from the survey in 2022. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2023. More information and the park survey can be accessed here.
Our own neighbourhood survey for recreational improvements in Gwendolen Park, southwest of Yonge and Sheppard, will close on November 30. Possibility for park improvements and the survey are on John’s website at johnfilion.ca/gwendolen. Results will be given to parks staff for design work and further consultation in 2022.
