TTC Fare Policy Consultation - Jan 25

The TTC is launching the final consultation phase for its 5-Year Fare Policy. This initiative is to create a new TTC and York Regional Transit fare structure that could see fares increased, eliminated, or subject to peak and off-peak pricing, and eliminate cross-boundary double fares between both transit systems. As part of this phase, the agency will host another round of public meetings before making its final recommendations in May.

There are two upcoming opportunities for the public to be involved. An external stakeholder workshop for community organizations is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 5 to 7:00 p.m., and a virtual town hall is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Both meetings will take place over Zoom, and participants can pre-register or drop in using this link.
