TTC to Stop Selling Tickets, Tokens, and Passes By The End of November

The TTC will stop selling tickets, tokens and passes (GTA Weekly and the Day Pass) to customers next month.

On November 30, the public will no longer be able to purchase these items at collector booths. Customers will be able to pick-up tickets, tokens and passes at some third-party retailers.

TTC customers will be able to use previously purchased tickets, tokens and passes. While the GTA Weekly Pass can only be used until December 1, the TTC has not slated a date as to when it will stop accepting the other noted types of fares.

Refunds will not be provided, therefore, customers are encouraged to use their remaining tickets, tokens and passes as soon as possible.

For TTC riders who don’t currently hold a Presto card, they can pick one up from fare vending machines located in subway stations, all Shoppers Drug Mart locations, online at and through the Presto App, or at the TTC Customer Service Centre at Davisville Station.

One-day, two-ride or day pass Presto Tickets can be purchased from fare vending machines, Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Toronto, and the TTC Customer Service Centre at Davisville Station.
