Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 4, 2013 for my annual Ward 23 Community Environment Day. Do your part to create a cleaner, greener and more livable Toronto by bringing your used or unwanted household items for re-use, recycling or safe disposal. Community Environment Day will be held at Earl Haig S.S. (100 Princess Avenue) from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Also available (fees may apply) are backyard composters, green bins, kitchen containers and leaf compost (one cubic meter free of charge per household). For more information on what you can bring to Environment Day, visit the City of Toronto’s Environment Day website.
